24 Hour Care
24-HOUR HOME CARE SERVICES
GIVE FAMILIES PEACE OF MIND
24-hour home care is a great option for families who are concerned about the safety and wellbeing of their elderly loved one due to physical or cognitive decline or who want to provide a higher quality of life in the comfort of home rather than a facility. Clients who benefit the most from 24-hour home care typically have around-the-clock care needs. A caregiver must be present and ready to help both during the daytime as well as the night. At Assisting Hands Home Care, our focus on concierge care ensures that our clients receive the highest quality of care in the comfort and familiar surroundings of home 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Our experienced care management team works with each and every client to create a highly customized care plan and select a team of professional, committed and compassionate caregivers who are the perfect match for each client. 24-hour care is delivered with the help of several caregivers who alternate on a schedule tailored to the needs of our clients.
24-hour Care or Live-in Care?
Live-in care and 24-hour care are not the same. 24 hour care is typically needed when clients require a caregiver to be present by their side 24/7. Other than small breaks, caregivers must be awake, ready to help and on full duty mode during the entire shift. In other words, 24 hour care is needed when the care needs of a client are 24/7.
Unlike 24 hour care, live-in caregivers live in the home of our clients while still maintaining their own primary residence. Despite being on the client’s premise, live-in caregivers are not available to assist 24/7. They must get proper breaks and uninterrupted sleep. Live-in care is the best option for those clients who need minimal care at night. In most live-in care cases, we assign two caregivers who alternate shifts every 3-4 days to ensure a higher quality of care for our clients. Rates for live-in care are charged on a flat daily basis. Live-in care offers families the peace of mind knowing that someone is always present at their loved one’s place of residence. During our complimentary assessment, we help our clients explore whether 24-hour care or live-in care is the best care option for their loved one.
